Professional Experience:Joined the Athens Bar Association in 1984. Licensed to practice before the Supreme Court.

  • 2004 to present: Founding and managing partner of "Pamboukis, Maravelis, Nikolaidis & Associates Law Firm".
  • 1990: Founding partner of "Flogaitis, Pamboukis, Siouti & Associates Law Office".
  • He is practicing before the Greek Supreme Court, the European Court of Justice, the European Court of Human Rights. Furthermore, he has been actively involved in international commercial and investment arbitration, institutional (particularly, but not only, in ICC) or ad hoc, as party appointed arbitrator, chairman, sole arbitrator, counsel and expert, in many countries. He is also experienced in mediation and negotiations on international trade issues, as well as, in the legislative drafting of offshore companies, international sale of goods and privatizations. He has represented many foreign and national prestigious clients and he has drafted numerous legal opinions on thorny questions.

Research experience and International academic activities:

  • 2005 to present: Associate Professor of Private International Law, University of Athens, Faculty of Law (Major Subjects on undergraduate/postgraduate level: Private International Law, International Arbitration, International Uniform Law, International Transactions)
  • 2006 to present: Responsible for the Athens Bar Association's seminars and publications.
  • 2003: He has taught at the prestigious Hague Academy of International Law a special course "Uniform Law and Private International Law" (to be published in Recueil des Cours de l' Academie de Droit International).
  • 1998: Member of the UNIDROIT (Rome).
  • 1995-1997: Member of the legislative Committee for the ratification of the United Nations Convention for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
  •  1992-1996: Hellenic Ministry of Justice, Advisor on European Cooperation with respect to issues of Civil Law.
  • 1990-1996: General Secretary of the Revue Hellenique de droit international publication.
